DAT works with relevant actors to develop structures that can guide states in establishing and maintaining sound food and nutrition policies and programmes, thereby increasing the protection of the poor and vulnerable from unsafe food and inadequate diets while helping to combat and ease the management of NCDs.
DAT works on supporting the establishment of Consumer networks to ensure that consumers in Kenya are treated safely, fairly and honestly. The strategy focuses on enabling consumers to get the best without compromising on quality, care and fair treatment by putting their voice at heart and ensuring excellence in consumer protection through specific projects.
